In a few years, Sant Ferran will have overhauled its appearance, with the pedestrianisation of the historic quarter around the square, Carrer Major and Carrer Guillem de Montgr\u00ed. What’s more, the Avimguda Joan Castell\u00f3 Guasch will be given a makeover, allowing pedestrians to cross the main road that runs through the village and making it the perfect place to leisurely explore all its hidden corners.<\/p>\n\n\n

Located in the very heart of Formentera and practically\nten minutes from everywhere else on the island, the village is also famous for\nits bakery, where you’ll savour one of the best ‘cocas amb sofrit’ (a yummy\npizza-like delight) in the whole world. What’s more, the legendary Fonda Pepe\nis the perfect place for a refreshing drink on a balmy summer evening, while\nthere’s a host of exciting live music concerts held throughout the year in the\nvillage square or at Sa Panxa restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer nights were designed for outdoor living, which is why the Carrer Major now features an Art Market (daily from May to October, except Wednesdays and Sundays), where artists showcase their creations.<\/p>\n\n\n
