Our day. It&#8217;s always\ncelebrated around 25 July with events of all kinds and for all audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main celebrations take place on 24 and 25 July, but in the weeks beforehand you can also enjoy some of the programmed festivities. This <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/agendaformentera.cat\/evento.php?id_evento=1981&amp;id_eventosesion=10313&amp;titulo=sant-jaume-diada-de-formentera\">link<\/a><\/strong> has the full programme of the fiestas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, the night-time concerts on 24 and 25 July and the long-awaited Formentera Flower are the true highlights of the fiestas each year.<\/p>\n\n\n    <div class=\"ad ad-type-timetable ad-has-image\">\n      <div class=\"ad-wrapper\">\n        <a href=\"\/en\/ads\/url\/115\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"background: url(\/en\/ads\/img\/115\/timetable?p=6a78e8d3f13bd)\">\n                      <span class=\"title\">Consell Insular - Zona Blava<\/span>\n            <span class=\"description\"><\/span>\n            <span class=\"ad-footer\"><\/span>\n                  <\/a>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    \n\n\n\n<p>Concert-wise, on Wednesday 24 from 10.30 pm\nonwards, the groups The Prussians and Gertrudis will be taking to the main\nsquare stage in Sant Francesc. And closing the evening will be Sidonie DJ Set. On\nthe next day, Formentera&#8217;s big day, it\u2019ll be the turn of the Andrea Motis Trio\nand Sopa de Cabra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The high point of the fiestas is Formentera Flower, which this year is being held on 20 July. The Flower for Kids will kick off at 9.00 pm, while from 11.00 pm onwards, the stars of the show will be the islanders DJ Blue, DJ Javi Box, Jam Factory and DJ Pharma.<\/p>\n\n\n    <div class=\"ad ad-type-timetable ad-has-image\">\n      <div class=\"ad-wrapper\">\n        <a href=\"\/en\/ads\/url\/116\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"background: url(\/en\/ads\/img\/116\/timetable?p=6a78e8d3f13bd)\">\n                      <span class=\"title\">Consell Insular - Zona Blava<\/span>\n            <span class=\"description\"><\/span>\n            <span class=\"ad-footer\"><\/span>\n                  <\/a>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    \n\n\n\n<p>From a cultural point of view, a must-visit is\nthe exhibition dedicated to German architect Erwin Broner (Munich 1898 &#8211; Kreuth\n1971), a jaunt through various movements in the history of art that ended up\nshaping the avant-garde of the second half of the twentieth century, which\nBroner helped introduce into Ibiza. The works on display at the Sant Francesc\nExhibition Hall and the new space in La Mola Lighthouse belong to the\ncollection that Gisela Broner gave to the Ibiza-based gallery owner Catalina\nVerdera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you will attend the concerts buy the ferry tickets online at <a href=\"http:\/\/booking.proximoferry.com\/\">booking.proximoferry.com<\/a>, save a few euros and skip the line, because you will have the boarding passes on your phone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sant Jaume is Formentera&#8217;s big day.
